I bet you started the new year saying you need to take more care of yourself. Thar you need more time to pamper yourself and to relax. I also imagine that by now you’re starting to worry, because has already spent a week and you haven’t done what you planned to do. I imagine, understand and I can identify myself.

Nowadays, with the rush of our days, taking time for ourselves becomes a real challenge! We end up spending more hours at work than we should, we run home to prepare our children’s meals… we run to give time to our friends, to our husband, to our boyfriend, to our dogs…

And suddenly, the clock strikes at midnight and we only think of falling into bed to at least sleep 6 hours. Yes… it was another day that flew by. Another day without reading a single page of the new book that we put on the bedside table, that we didn’t go to the gym and even a skin cleansing we were able to do.
But think with me, what if you could have a place in your own home where you could get away from the whole word? What if you could create a shelter in your home where you can relax and recharge your batteries?

It’s time to remodel your bathroom and turn it into a true SPA! What do you think?

I want to share some tricks with you so you can start planning this space already (and a completely renewed and happier life).

1 – LIGHT

As in any space, lighting is extremely important. An interesting option are the colored halogen lamps, which offer sensations to the environment. LED RGB are also indicated to alter the effect of direct and indirect light. Lighting showers are great for those who bet on color therapy. Warm, dim lights are a must have in these environments.

2 – TEXTURES

Choose porcelain in light colors, straight and without reliefs. Coatings that imitate stone textures appeal to nature, offering a beautiful and relaxing environment. And of course, a wooden deck is beautiful, elegant and ideal for wet areas such as the shower.

3 – COLORS

The ideal colors for quiet environments are the neutral and pastel tones. White and beige are always good options, conveying tranquility. Blue is considered a soothing color and is suitable for larger areas such as the walls. The green has a calming character and is also suitable for walls or even with the use of plants.

4 – PLANTS

Remember to decorate this space with flowers and plants. Nature composes this environment very elegantly. Choose species that adapt to damp and dark environments.

5 – THE 5 SENSES

Last but definitely not least, think of the 5 senses.
A truly perfect SPA environment should appeal to them simultaneously.
When you start thinking about the remodeling and decorating of your new private SPA, think of them as well. Then, automatically, you will not only think of colors and decorations, but also candles, soft creams, hot oils, melodic music, tranquilizing teas and towels, and soft, comfortable bathrobes.

Can you imagine how amazing it will be? You will finally be able to relax after another day of work. Even if it’s only for 15 minutes, when everyone is asleep. More than that … you will be able to spend a few minutes of your day for yourself and your well being.

Let’s do it?
